No one has ever taken advantage of our moneyback guarantee. If you don't find it to be the best lotion you have ever used, send back the unused portion and we will refund the full price paid.
Unfortunately the great cost of a national advertising campaign prevents us from marketing the lotion more widely. This year we will be selling through health food stores, sporting goods stores, gymnasiums and special agents. We are sorry that we don't have the lotion where all can purchase it and obtain the benefit of a healthful, smooth, dark tan. Perhaps that will come some day. In the meantime you can order a bottle or a few bottles. from York for yourself and friends, or if you want to do other people a favor and make a few dollars for yourself, offer it for sale in your neighborhood by being our agent.
HI-PROTEEN

when you consider the great lifting of our team. Tommy Kono lamented in a letter to me that his supply of Hi-Proteen had not arrived as promised. Someone slipped in our billing department, but he would make up for it in Mexico City. Can you conceive of any 169-pound human being making such a perfect press with a world record poundage, such as Tommy did with 3161, without outside help? Hi-Proteen provided much of this help. Or a young lad like Vinci increasing his snatch from 190 to 223, a world record?
Or Schemansky, not in his best physical condition, snatching a world record poundage of 334? Or Yas Kuzuhara suddenly improving after years of lifting? He packs Hi-Proteen all day in the shipping department and continues to get stronger. Pete George is much stronger than ever before in his life and I asked him why he had improved in his press and clean. He said, "HiProteen, of course. You should know." Anyway, the lifters had enough, and they all used it.
Bob Janis, an American who is heavyweight champion of Mexico, and movie magnate Pedro Calderon, were climbers of Mt. Popo with our group. They said they were actually all-in when they passed Los Cruces, nearly 17,000 feet high, at the edge of the ice. fields, and it was there they received a new resurge of energy and strength so they could climb higher as we finished the last pound of Super Hi-Proteen tablets. So Super Hi-Proteen triumphed over this mighty natural obstacle, the fearsomely wonderful Mt. Popo. An empty can of Super HiProteen now rests at the highest point of Popo, for other climbers to see in time to come. Many of the teams were smart. The athletes from the Dutch East Indies brought their own HiProteen. They ordered barbells, six dozen Hoffman's Rub and hundreds of pounds of Hi-Proteen in plenty of time for the competition. Now this little island group off the coast of South America has the strongest weight lifting team in South and Central America, and Hi-Proteen played an important part in their great improvement.
One day at the track competition I noted that Mike D'Agostino, who attends Fresno State on the west coast at present and did attend Villanova, was munching Hi-Proteen tablets. He's one of the great sprinters in the world

Natural Rubber Exerciser
A wonderful, new natural rubber exerciser of a type which is preferred by many. There are four bands of varying strengths, designed to be used with a special patented type of sure grip handles. This set possesses unlimited strength, Most fellows can perform only two or three of the exercises with the No. 3 strand, many cannot pull No. 4 in any style. While steel springs are well liked and have their advantages, and the round, elastic cables are popular too, this type of exerciser permits the practice of a number of different, result producing exercises which cannot be performed with the other types. You'll like this exerciser, you should have one as a part of your club or home training equipment. Made in the following strengths: 1. Medium strength.

STRENGTH AND HEALTH JULY, 1955
STRENGTH AND HEALTH JULY, 1955
at present and was a favorite to win. the title at the Pan American Games, but the longer-legged Americans were too much for him. He said he had used the Hi-Proteen tablets for a long time and that he got his present supply from Rodney Wilkes. Rodney Wilkes won the 132-pound class at Argentina, the only class we did not win, he was third at the Olympics back of the two great Russian lifters, Saxonov and Chimishkyan. So he early used the tablets and Mike had followed his lead.
A coach who was with us as one of the officials at the Central American games last year, this year was coach of the Brazilian team. He has a contract. with them until after the Olympics. He visited me at my suite one morning and wondered if he could get some HiProteen. I told him that our supply of tablets and powder was limited but I would give him two envelopes full of super tables and he could get more at Alan Hool's. Just two days later De Silva, who had formerly held the world record in the hop-step and jump at 53 feet and had lost it to a Russian athlete, well-charged with Super Hi-Proteen tablets, broke his own record by a full foot, 54'3", and regained the world record. He and his coach are convinced that the Super Hi-Proteen supplied the additional power for he had trained for years, living the same, eating the same, and Hi-Proteen was the only change in his method of living.
The United States beat Brazil in basketball, Argentina beat the United States, Brazil beat Argentina, the team championship ending in a triple tie, with the U.S. winning by having scored the most baskets. The U.S. beat Brazil before they got Hi-Proteen. Brazil won from Argentina after they had the tablets. I am free to say that this basketball game between Brazil and Argentina was the high spot of the championships to me, outside of the lifting. It was worth the trip to Mexico City for this one event alone. The Brazilians were the underdogs, but they played like demons. Never in watching more than 40 years of basketball have I seen. a team play so frenziedly but so cleanly. The score was even throughout. In fact, the score was tied at 50-50. Finally Brazil tossed in two fouls and a two-pointer and won. The Brazilian team had to make their points the hard way. with scores from the floor. The officials were awarding foul after foul to Argentina. They kept in the scoring this way. One Argentinian scored seven consecutive fouls. The next morning we had breakfast with three of the basketball referees and I brought up the subject. The only excuse the referee could offer was that there had been a riot the day before and that by giving fouls to Argentina he was avoiding bloodshed. Maybe bloodshed, but it wasn't his fault he didn't give the game away and cause the U.S. to lose. For it was only Brazil's victory over Argentina which permitted our fellows to "back into" the championship.
Stamina, speed, good nerves, accurate shooting are necessary in basketball, and that is where Hi-Proteen helps.
